It’s fair to say that 2020 has been a very challenging year for communities across Georgia, and especially for the hard of hearing in Dublin.

But with a new year approaching, we felt that it was time to get into the festive spirit. And that’s why we’re gifting someone special a complimentary pair of hearing aids through our seasonal competition, “Hear for the Holidays.”

More than ever before, people across the US are aware of their need for hearing loss treatment. This has resulted from the widespread use of face masks, which have prevented many from reading lips and taking other visual cues when talking.

Normally, it’s much harder to spot a hearing loss in its early stages. The signs include when someone asks for repeated words, turns their TV’s volume higher than normal, or experiences a ringing in their ears.

But it can also be easy to ignore these things for several years.

Even when someone does notice that their hearing has declined significantly, they sometimes delay speaking to a specialist, as they have concerns about the required financial investment or how treatments will make them look.

Despite this, The Hearing Center of Dublin ENT team will always be ready to assist you, no matter your needs or situation!

“Hear for the Holidays,” where one person will receive a pair of complimentary hearing aids and premium care, is one example of how we’re looking to give back to our community.

If you know someone who could benefit from better hearing, it’s very easy to nominate them for this prize. All you need to do is provide some basic information about them and state WHY they would make a great winner!

The competition will close on November 30, 2020, and not long after, we’ll announce the winner.

We’ll then invite them to a comprehensive hearing assessment, where we’ll fit their hearing aids right away, ensuring they have the holiday season they deserve!
